Back in Central Park again, this time in the Ramble, that secluded, wooded realm of meadows and groves, boulders and fields. We lay out in the grass and quietly read our books until an 18-month-old and her father wandered into view and the toddler merrily toddled into the center of our camp. She seemed delighted with her new friends, and wonderfully oblivious–in that way all children are, and adults should be–to the fact that we were bare-breasted in the sun. Her father was cool, too.
And so we bid farewell to June. But there’s plenty of summer left. And remember, if you’d like to join us for one of our events, we’d love to have you. Just send e-mail to toplesspulpfiction[AT]gmail[DOT]com. We welcome new members with…open arms.
