So, someone pointed out in the comments to our last post that the large boulder in Riverside Park where we met is called “Mount Tom” and is where Edgar Allan Poe used to sit and ponder while writing his poetry, back when he used to live just a couple of blocks east. Talk about a literary spot!
In honor of Edgar’s ghost, and any other spirits that might have been hovering, watching us, and composing lyric odes to our beauty, our wit, and our excellent taste in reading material, here are some more photos from our Mount Tom adventure…
Interesting history tidbit. The pictures also tell the story why enjoying the wonderful female form is soothing to the senses. We are glad these wonderful ladies have this opportunity in their lives to enjoy experiences many never get to.
I have a rough idea where these location are within the park even though I have not been into NYC for around 20 years. One would think a city of what, 5 million people, would have more of a crowd wandering in the backkground of your pictures. Is it really that easy to maintan the feeling of isolation, or at least some extra elbow room, while in the park?
Well, Mount Tom is a large boulder, and if you’re lying on top of it you can’t easily be seen from the ground below. That said, we weren’t always lying down, and when standing we could be seen, and several passers-by did notice, and a few of them spoke with us. At one point, a group of young boys, maybe 7 years old, ran up the side of the boulder and spotted us, one shouted “Oh my God!”, and they all scampered away as fast as they’d come. A formative experience perhaps. But this being New York, and our conduct being entirely legal, no one bothered us. Which is as it should be.
Reblogged this on home clothes free.
There are alotta milk white breasts for gals that have been sunbathing all summer. Not that I’m complaining. 😉
We’re not out there every day–more like a few times a month. And we wear sunscreen. 🙂
Alex I think that was a little inappropriate, please recognize what these ladies have overcome to get to this point. Not all nudist and semi-nudist are fully tanned as you seem to be expecting. Besides you might consider having a profile as well.

Your message is spreading!
As my wife says while on the nude beaches, “I don’t come to tan but I do appreciate no tan lines” so regardless of the color / hue the lack of tan lines says it all.
Yes, exactly ! The wife and I have always been amazed by so-called or proffessed nudist that have pronounced tan lines. It understandable that you can’t always tan nude but when your parts are lilly white it indicates not really a nudist. As mentioned before these ladies have had few opportunities and are making an honest effort given their circumstance. They have offerd pics of full nudity at times indicating a goal of an even tan.
I’m sure that will be eager to resurrect poets to admire so sublime and glamorous beauties that settle on the rock, I dream of traveling to NYC and walk through the park to delight and sigh for you.
