Each year, Printed Matter Inc. presents the NY Art Book Fair, and this year we were invited to join Fulton Ryder at their booth the opening night of the show. Three of us went, and as they were warm and welcoming hosts and had plenty of classic pulp paperbacks to dive into, we got comfy on their folding chairs and made scarce with the fabric from the waist up.
Outdoors? Not so much. But we had a great time, and with winter coming, some friendly indoor events might be just the thing to keep us out of trouble. Anyone out there have a fireplace and a tiger-skin rug we can loll on…?
“Anyone out there have a fireplace and a tiger-skin rug we can loll on…?” If you’ll come, I’ll install one.
Well, if you install one, we’ll…
Oh, never mind.
Reblogged this on home clothes free.
It is already so cold outside. We have a great (portable) fireplace and rugs, blankets, throws, and pillows galore. Such a nice, warm, cozy, and friendly environment to sit or lay and read a good book. Too bad we are so far away from each other. It could be such an intriguing occasion.
“But we had a great time, and with winter coming[…]”
My inner nerd instantly thought of Game of Thrones when I saw that line. 🙂 At least we don’t have to suffer through winters that can last for years.
We really appreciate what you ladies are doing and what you stand for. Not judging you here but not sure this setting was entirely in the true spirit of what you stand for. I guess the question is were there guys there topless as well ?
Ultimately, we stand for having fun and love of books, and this setting fit those criteria. It wasn’t about equal rights to go topfree outdoors, but not everything has to be. Different day, different adventure.
Your point is well taken. As we said not passing judgement here. By the way the pics a very lovely !
i will, again, wait for your return from the cold and seclusion
while your skin gradually fades to the pale which states, in no uncertain terms, that winter is outside…
(and you are not)
Who needs clothes when you have skin as good as that? 😉
