There are no bigger fans of the Yuletide season than we — individually. Bright sparkly decorations on normally drab buildings, music everywhere, candy-striped leggings and floppy velvet hats…what’s not to love?
But as a group — as a group we require warmer temperatures to do what we do, namely go out without layers on (without even one layer on, specifically). Which leaves us hunting for warmer climes. And in New York City that means a spa.
It means soaking in a hundred-degree tub with whole lemons floating in the water.
It means breathing deep of the herb-infused steam in a glass-walled steam room, and enjoying the radiant heat beneath the mats of a wood-paneled relaxation room.
It means holing up in an igloo made of jade and stone and letting it bake us like a stromboli.
It means spending an evening blissfully naked with two dozen friends, enjoying warmth of another sort, remembering that even in 2016 there is kindness and love and people to share them with.
And because a few of us couldn’t make it to that spa evening, it means a trip to a second spa a few days later, for a more intimate do-over.
Hoping you’re the same.
You guys are awesome… 🙂 Your heads are screwed on right and tight and I admire you all… Merry Christmas…
Wow. And yes, two of your greatest fans, one from the Netherlands via Luxembourg and Germany and one from England via Scotland and Japan, are very relaxed and enjoying an unseasonably warm and pine-scented Christmas Eve together in London. We wish you all the kindness and love in the world as this turbulent year draws near its close, and we hold firm to the belief that the more kindness and love we spread, the brighter the future looks, whatever it brings. And in the meantime, we wish all of you at OCTPFAS a very happy Christmas and a good New Year. Douglas and Cecile
Thanks for all your inspiring updates throughout the year. Enjoy the Season and the Spa
The world would be a much better place if there were more like you. Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Happy Kwanzaa and Happy New Year. Thanks for 2016 and looking forward to 2017! Ken
Merry Christmas to all, hope you continue to enjoy the freedom that you are having with the ability to get together without the burden of clothes.
Keep up the good vibe.

Sure beats standing out in the snow waiting for Santa!
Merry Christmas! I envy you in the best possible sense! Enjoy!

Speaking of warm weather activities, I saw this image and wondered: Have you ever considered reading a baseball program, sans blouse, during a game at Citi Field or Yankee Stadium?

Not sure what ‘reading’ a baseball program might mean, but we have talked about attending a game topless. The thing is, those take place in a stadium, which is a private venue rather than a public place, and so we’d be subject to the owners’ rules, just like in a theater or restaurant. Which means we could only do it with the owners’ permission, which we think they’d be unlikely to give. But it’s something to consider.
I was trying to be too cute by substituting a “baseball program” for the “Pulp Fiction” in the name of your organization. Of course, not being a soldier in the field, I failed to see the broader perspective of public versus private venues.
Still, every time I see an entire row of (often painted) bare-chested men in the stands at a sporting event, I cannot help but think it would be a good place to further the normalization of the female breast. I shall continue to cheer your brave efforts from the sideline.
Happy New Year to you all.
Remember, a spa is not just for Christmas. A monthly visit in the winter would be something you would come to appreciate, even if you did not blog about it.
Oh, we agree. We may not be able to afford to do it every month, but certainly more than once a year!
Bit late but happy New Year ladies and Gents love it
I’m an American dude living in Germany. Over here, nudity just isn’t that big of a deal. Men and women enjoy the spa together, fully nude, without any issue whatsoever.
Really wish I could find a place like that in New York.
